Wall za Hood

"Wall za Hood" (the Walls of the Hood in Swahili), is the story of a mural in a notorious Kenyan slum. How did this mural come to be on this wall and why is it significant to Nairobi and to Kenya as a whole? In this short documentary, the minds behind this unique public art project answer these questions and share their understanding of what it all means.

Directed by Katy Fentress and produced by Cultural Video Foundation, Kenya 2010
